These save games for the expansion pack "Tales of the Sword Coast" are for the
UK version (1 CD) released as budget "PC BEST BUY", and then patched to version
1.3.5521. The expansion pack was added to Baldur's Gate, also "PC BEST BUY", and
of course the UK version as well. I did not use a XP cap removing tool, meaning
that the party did not rise above 161000 XP (although they did hit the limit).

The expansion pack was installed after I completed the original campaign, so
that the FINAL-SAVE actually brought me to Ulgoth's Beard as it should.

Given the fact that I had already completed the original campaign, I only played
the new areas of the expansion pack in the order suggested by Desslock's "Game
Guide" for Gamespot, almost not touching any of the original areas other than
stocking up on new goods. There is one exception, however. I did not manage to
get hold of the Golden Pantaloons in the original campaign, so I pick pocketed
the owner of them in Friendly Arm Inn to get hold of them this time.

Even though the save games cover my first (and probably only) run through the
expansion pack, I often took a sneak peak in both Dudleyville's excellent
walkthrough on the internet as well as Desslock's equally excellent "Game Guide"
for Gamespot. I was relatively thorough and investigated more than 95% of the
new areas, and I solved about the same percentage of quests and subquests. Apart
from the sporadic help from the game guides, I did not cheat in any way (other
than using small exploits such as shooting fireballs at the edge of "fog of war"
to damage a group I knew was just nearby).

I played the expansion pack with the same party with which I finished the
original campaign, deliberately arranged in the following order:

	Palagorn (my character)
	Minsc (ranger)
	Kivan (ranger)
	Imoen (thief)
	Branwen (cleric)
	Dynaheir (mage)

This party remained this way right to the end of the expansion pack. The
character I made was a Paladin with the following stats:

Start of O.C. End of TotSC

	Strength 18/02 19 (tome)
	Dexterity 12 18 (gauntlets)
	Constitution 18 19 (tome)
	Intelligence 10 10
	Wisdom 14 15 (tome)
Charisma 18 22 (tome and cloak)

Hit points was 14 in the beginning and rose to 88 in the end of the expansion
pack. Proficiencies were allocated for large sword (++), small sword (+) and
bow (++). Later in the game I also added missile weapons (+). In the end of the
expansion pack he was level 8 (161000 XP).

My party was mostly good and I made sure the reputation reached 20 as fast as I
could manage it in the original campaign, and I kept it there for the remainder
of the expansion pack. I hope you will agree that the way I equipped my party is
fairly sensible. Strategically, I went with a missile combat style, pausing and
making my distance to most of the enemies. I didn't use close melee action much,
but that doesn't mean that the fighters are not proficient at it. I think you
will find that the party is capable of most kinds of fighting styles. However,
the fact that I used missile weapons a lot also means that you will find a LOT
of arrows and sling bullets in the inventories of all party members.

As temporary storage in the original campaign, I primarily used the two drawers
in the room upstairs at the "Jovial Juggler" in Beregost. You will find lots
of stuff there. I also used a barrel close to the "Sorcerous Sundries" in
Baldur's Gate. In the expansion pack, I used the coffin under the stairs as soon
as you enter the Durlag's Tower. I placed rune stones and other stuff there.

Now I could have started talking about equipment and stats for each member in
the party, but it would be a lot of text and it would be just as easy for you to
load a save game and take a look yourself. Enjoy.

The last save game for the expansion pack states 154 days and 13 hours.
